General settings

Settings is one destination with three tabs: General, the product-page widget, and the cart-drawer widgets.

General settings: status, plan, recommendations, widget visibility

General

Section titled “General”
  • Enable Upselly on your storefront — the master switch. When off, every widget is hidden; your settings are kept.
  • Plan — selected automatically from your store’s 30-day order volume. All features are available on every plan.
  • Recommendations — toggle automatic frequently-bought-together suggestions.
  • Tags that hide the widget — products with these tags never show the widget. You can also tag an individual product Exclude_From_Upselly_Widget.
  • Recommendation exclusions — products that should never be recommended.
  • Widget label translations — override any built-in label in any language (more).

Product page widget design settings

Design controls for the frequently-bought-together widget: texts, display options (price, quantity selector, variants), colors (light/dark scheme to match your theme), and custom CSS/JS for advanced cases.

Cart drawer widgets

  • Product recommendations in the cart drawer.
  • Promotional banner at the top of the cart.
  • Shipping protection — offer a protection product that’s added when the customer opts in.

Cart drawer widgets may not work with every theme yet — if one doesn’t appear after saving, contact us and we’ll check compatibility.
